All applications will be appraised to determine
that the application is signed and complete, required documents provided, and the
candidate’s education and experience meet the minimum qualifications. Only
those
candidates who best meet the qualifications will be invited to participate
in the selection process which may be administered either by: written
examination, oral interview, or any combination as determined by the
Personnel Department to be appropriate. Successful candidates on this
portion will be placed on an eligibility list, valid for one year. The top
candidates being considered for hire will be invited back for an
interview by the respective department head and City Administrator.
Only
those applications, and supplemental questionnaires (when required),
received by 4:00 P.M. (unless otherwise noted) on the final filing date will be considered. In order to
ensure proper evaluation of your minimum employment qualifications, it is
suggested you fill out the application COMPLETELY. Any material,
resume', or written statement you think desirable may be included for
additional information. All required certifications and education
requirements will be verified. All material submitted becomes the property of the
City of Chowchilla.
The Personnel Office will
