This volunteer program is for anyone wishing to help clean up around Chowchilla. Volunteers are asked to meet at Veterans Memorial Park (600 Robertson Blvd.) at 8:30 a.m. prepared to mow, prune, weed, sweep, etc. The goal is to have this program continue on a monthly basis. Chowchilla Police Department's annual fall rabies and licensing clinic. Vaccine shots will be offered at a cost of $6 per vaccine. The 7 in 1 puppy shot will also be available for $20 (does not include rabies vaccination). Three types of cat vaccinations at $10 per shot will be offered - ALL cats must be in carriers. Residents may also obtain their city dog license at the clinic. For information, call the Police Department at 559-665-8600.
PLEASE NOTE: The Clinic is open to senior citizens and disabled individuals only from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the general public.
