For the 25th year, Children's Hospital Central California, The Fresno Bee, ABC 30, and 5,000 volunteers in 20 cities will hit the streets to sell the annual Kids Day edition of The Fresno Bee. This year is sure to be bigger than ever, as the community celebrates the momentous 25th anniversary! Wrapped around the regular morning newspaper, the Kids Day edition features compelling patient stories and photographs about the vital pediatric medical care Children's Hospital provides for 1 million children throughout Central California.
Kid's Day is and always has been, "For The Kids!" Proceeds from Kid's Day, which now total over $4.5 million, have touched countless lives in the Central Valley. Whether sending cancer patients into remission, repairing little hearts, or helping the tinies of babies to grow, Children's takes care of our community's children in every way. It costs over $1 million dolllars to operate the hospital each day, but families who have been touched by this incredible place know it's a small price to pay. Dollar by dollar you can make a difference!
