Discover a great bird watching area - attend one of Eastman Lake's monthly walks, every second Saturday of the month through April 14. To join one of the Ranger-led birding walks, meet at the Chowchilla boat ramp in Eastman Lake's day-use area. Walks last approx. 1.5 hours, rain or shine. Park entrance fee is $4 per vehicle. The Chowchilla Police Department and Friends of Madera Animal Shelter Chowchilla Committee will host this annual spring rabies and licensing clinic. Annual licenses are required for all dogs in the City and may be obtained at the clinic with proof of their rabies shot.
Distemper/Parvo shots for dogs will be available for $12, Rabies shots for $6, and worming shots for $5. FVRCD cat vaccinations for distemper and upper respiratory disease at $12 per shot will be offered as well as Rabies shots for $6 and worming shots for $5. ALL cats must be in carriers. Low income vouchers for spaying/neutering will be available for $20 for dogs and $15 for cats. Transportation to HOPE for this service is available through C.A.R.A.

PLEASE NOTE: The Clinic is open to senior citizens and disabled individuals only from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the general public.
