In 2001, Justin worked for
a member of Congress, a job that exposed him to several national and
international political issues. That same year, Justin married his long-time
sweetheart, Jennifer Larson, also of Chowchilla. In December 2009, Justin
and Jennifer welcomed their first child Jarrett into their family.
In 2002, Justin moved back
to Chowchilla when he was hired as one of Madera County's first Legislative
Assistants. Upon returning to Chowchilla, Justin, like his father over a
decade before, joined the Chowchilla Volunteer Fire Department, where he
continues to serve as an active Volunteer Firefighter and was elected the
organization's President in 2006.
Justin was elected to the
Chowchilla City Council in November of 2006 and served as Mayor from
December 2008 to December 2009. His council term expires in December
2010. |
