Seven members act in an advisory capacity to the City Council by implementing the directives of the Heritage Preservation Ordinance (Chowchilla Municipal Code Chapter 18.55) with the goal of recognizing and preserving the cultural, historical, and architectural heritage of the community. This commission meets quarterly on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. All Heritage Preservation Commission meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Chowchilla Civic Center located at 130 S. Second Street, Civic Center Plaza. Please see the Calendar of Events for specific meeting dates and times.
