Seven members act in an advisory capacity to the City Council on proposed changes to the General Plan for the physical development of the City, to make recommendations on proposed zoning and land use, and exercise control over land subdivisions. This commission meets every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. All Planning Commission meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Chowchilla Civic Center located at 130 S. Second Street, Civic Center Plaza. Please see the Calendar of Events for specific meeting dates and times.
