The Wastewater Division of the Public Services Department collects compatible wastewater from our customers. We treat it using the best practical technology available to protect the general public and the environmental health of our community. Our Wastewater Division operates a 1.0 million gallon-per-day (MGD) wastewater plant. The Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at 15750 Avenue 24 1/2. Its overall goal is to receive, treat, and dispose of residential wastewater so it is environmentally safe. This procedure is closely monitored by several State of California regulatory agencies to guarantee compliance with Federal and State mandates. This Division also maintains 4 sewage lift pump stations and 37 miles of sewer pipelines. |
